Pro-Line Ambush CGR with Roll Cage

A scaler means four simple words - "making it look real" and ProLine's new body and scale accessories deliver some of the coolest most realistic looking parts for almost any 10th scale RC.

Pull any of ProLine's new scale looking parts from the package and you will be stunned with the quality and detail. Lets see they have bodies, light bars, bumpers, winches, roof racks, coolers, jacks, shovels, axes, ... well you get the idea, they have a bunch of new stuff that you should check out on Pro-LineRacing.com under the Crawler section.

Owning a couple hand made crawlers myself, I have to say Pro-Line has hit the mark with an extremely cool chassis that looks incredible on a rock crawler build but will also fit most 1/10th scale two and wheel drive RCs.

Noting that some parts on Pro-Line site were not available at the time of the article, Pro-Line loaded us up with all the scale related parts currently available. This included all their scale accessories extra such as coolers and shovels which are stunningly detailed. Although the CGR Ambush body can be used "topless" without the roll cage, as far as I am concerned, they are like peanut butter and jelly... the body and cage just go together. Equally autonomous are the bolt on bumper set, light bar, and accessory equipment rack for the roll cage which all could be easily bolted to most 10th scale bodies.

I have always been a fan of Pro-Line's Ambush body, but this "topless" version could be just as cool alone. Add in the roll cage and you have a seriously beefy body that adds a nice weight/heft with lots of strength to take a serious beating. The roll cage also features a spare wheel mount that will work equally well with a 2.2" sized wheel and tire or the 1.9" Axial SCX wheels. In case you were wondering, the Axial SCX wasn't released at the the time this article, so we bolted up a stock Axial drivetrain to our previously reviewed aluminum ProScaler chassis with five gorgeous DNA RC billet aluminum 1.9" beadlocks married to Pro-Line 1.9" Flatirons. For links we used stock stripped and polished Axial links for a nearly complete aluminum build.

Scalers are all about looking so real they make everyone do a double take when they look at the rig and Pro-Line new line of scale accessories deliver perfect scale realism all a a very reasonable price all with durability that is typical Pro-Line quality.
