Bulletproof Your Crawler Axial Drivetrain

Bulletproof Your Axial Drivetrain
By Tony Arnold - StampedeProject.com

As we all push our crawlers harder and harder the most common breakages are typically drivetrain related. These six upgrades will greatly decrease system breakage and even improve performance.

1. AXIAL SLIPPER CLUTCH - Any system has to have some "Give". With stock power breakage isn't a major problem, but with the higher power and torque of aftermarket systems a slipper takes the stress and greatly limits damage anytime the drivetrain is bound up.

2 - FLM DIFF LOCKER - The Fast Lane Machine one-piece diff locker replaces both the stock diff cup and diff locker and significantly strengthens and tightens drivetrain for much improved control.

3 & 4 - MIP AX10 DRIVESHAFTS AND AXLES - Typical MIP durability ups the Scorpion with heavy duty driveshafts and axles that will be around after the next nuclear holocaust and the CVD axles also increase steering angle

5 & 6 - AXIAL ALUMINUM C-HUBS & KNUCKLES - Axial definitely heard our cries for stronger steering parts and these two critical upgrades are direct replacements for the front stock plastic Axial AX10 parts.
